Introduction
- This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, handle and share personal data when you use superyou.ae or buy from us. We handle personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable UAE laws.

("ANF"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, with its office at 1405 TWR-1 Collective 1, Dubai Hills Estate, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. ANF is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, which means it decides how and why that data is used.
- The words "you", "your" or "yours" refer to any person who is using, accessing or browsing, or has used, accessed or browsed, the website at www.superyou.ae (the "Site") and/or has bought from us. Terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
- We sell SUPERYOU protein snacks and supplements in the UAE. Like our service, we keep things simple and easy. We value your privacy and security and follow industry standards and practices to keep the information you give us secure.
Information collection, use, handling and sharing
- This Privacy Policy covers the collection, use, storage, handling and sharing of information that you share on the Site. The information we collect and handle includes:
- "Personal Information", meaning data or information relating to a natural person which, directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available, can be used to identify that person. It includes the details you give us while using the Site and our services, such as your name, delivery and billing address, telephone number, email address and order history.
- Information about your device and how you use the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the Site, collected through Cookies (see below).
- We may need card details to take payment. Card payments are processed by our payment providers, and card details are not stored or used by us in any manner other than in accordance with the Terms of Service.
- The information we collect is relevant and necessary to understand your needs and to provide our services. We use it to process and deliver your orders, to send you updates about your order, to help with customer service or technical support, to tell you about new products and offers we think you might be interested in (where you have agreed to this), to improve the Site, to enforce the Terms of Service, and to prevent fraud and unlawful use. We will use the information you give us only for the purposes for which it was collected, as described here and/or shown to you while using the Site.
- We use your Personal Information on the following grounds: (a) to take, deliver and support your orders, because we need it to perform our contract with you; (b) to keep invoices and tax and accounting records, because UAE law requires us to; (c) to keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and deal with legal claims, where UAE law allows us to do so without consent; and (d) for marketing messages and for analytics and advertising cookies, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- We may use your phone number or email address to send you marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us at hello@superyou.ae. We may still use your email address and phone number for non-marketing or administrative purposes, such as order and delivery updates, customer service, or notifying you of major changes to the Site.
- You may choose not to give us your information. If you decline to provide the information needed for an order, we may not be able to provide certain services to you. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of this at the appropriate time.
- We have strict guidelines on access to the information you give us. To provide our services, we may share your Personal Information with third parties in the following cases:
- with our delivery partners, so they can deliver your order;
- with our payment providers, to process your payment;
- to help us answer questions you may have about the Site and our services;
- with our employees, contractors, suppliers and/or agents who help us provide our services to you, now or in the future;
- with third-party processors that host or process data for us, such as Shopify, our e-commerce platform;
- to help us or law enforcement agencies prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorism and other crimes. We may also disclose your Personal Information to the police, regulators or legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of this Privacy Policy and/or the Terms of Service, or otherwise where required by law, and we will co-operate with any law enforcement authority or court order requiring us to do so;
- for an audit of our business;
- if we sell all or any part of our business or merge with another company;
- if it is necessary for legal proceedings, or when we believe in good faith that any applicable law, regulation, government, regulatory or other authority requires it, or to protect the safety or security of users of the Site;
- to obtain advice from third parties such as auditors or legal advisers;
- with our group or affiliate companies, to further improve our products and services for you.
- Some of our service providers, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform), our payment providers and our analytics providers, store or process data outside the UAE. Where they do, we transfer data only as UAE data protection law allows, relying on safeguards such as the data processing terms we have with those providers.
- In addition, disclosures may be made if this was clearly stated when you gave us your information and, where required, you have given permission for it. Generally, we will disclose only the information we consider reasonably necessary. Some general statistical information about the Site's users, traffic volumes and related matters may be passed on to reputable third parties, but these details will not identify you personally.
- If you submit a review, comment or feedback on the Site, we may (but are not obliged to) publish it online or offline, together with your name and any images you include, to promote our business and services. We will not publish your email address, but we may use it to contact you about your comment. From time to time, we may ask for your opinion on our services. When we run surveys, we will make sure the results do not identify you or anyone else who takes part.
- What we know about you we get mostly from you. We may check the information you give us, for example to confirm a delivery address or to prevent fraud, and to make sure you comply with applicable laws and the Terms of Service.
- We may also use your Personal Information to: (i) monitor, develop and improve the Site, our services and your experience; (ii) provide and administer our services to you; (iii) handle any complaints or enquiries made by or about you; and (iv) investigate any suspected breach of the Terms of Service.
- You can withdraw your consent, or ask us to remove or delete your information, at any time by emailing hello@superyou.ae. Please note that if you do, we may not be able to provide certain services to you. We may still send you messages about your orders. We may keep some information in our records after deletion where the law requires it, for example order and tax records.
- Payments on the Site are handled by third-party payment providers. The information you give when paying is held by those providers, who may also have access to your payment history for payments made on the Site. Payment details are encrypted, giving the highest degree of privacy and care currently available. While we cannot guarantee 100% security, this makes it very hard for anyone to decrypt your details. Please do not send full credit or debit card details to us by email or other unencrypted messages. You are responsible for protecting your password and your computer or phone against unauthorised access.
- We handle all such information in accordance with applicable law. We may share aggregated information about the use of the Site that does not include Personal Information. We use standard measures to protect against unauthorised access to and unlawful interception of Personal Information. However, no website can fully eliminate security risks.
- We keep your Personal Information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for: order, invoice and payment records for as long as UAE tax and commercial laws require; account information until you close your account; and marketing preferences until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We are not responsible for how Linked Sites operate or how they handle any information, including Personal Information, that you give them. Please check their privacy policies and terms of use before sharing any information with them. Security
- We take precautions to protect your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as card details or other payment preferences), it is encrypted and transmitted securely using SSL encryption.
- We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to do a specific job (for example, billing, customer service or responding to legal requests) are given access to Personal Information. The servers that store Personal Information are kept in a secure environment.
- We protect your Personal Information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, using technical and organisational measures suited to the risk. Our servers are accessible only to authorised personnel, and your information is shared with our staff only on a need-to-know basis or to provide the services you have asked for. Everyone handling information under this Privacy Policy is bound by confidentiality obligations.
- If a breach of your Personal Information is likely to put your privacy or security at risk, we will tell you and the UAE Data Office, as the law requires, and take steps to limit its effects.
- You must keep your account details, including your username and password ("Account Information"), confidential at all times and not share them with anyone. Please log out at the end of each session and tell us immediately if you think someone else knows your Account Information. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
